It is the season to celebrate love! White Day comes exactly one month after Valentine's Day!

Few people know how White Day started. It came from Japanese confectionery manufacturers in 1978 as a follow-up to Valentine's Day. The holiday soon spread to all across East Asia, becoming a popular celebration.

A recent online survey of 460 internet users found that singer and actress Bae Suzy is the celebrity most people would want to celebrate the special day with. She received almost half of the votes. Actress Jo Bo-ah came in second with 102 votes, followed by singers IU, Irene from girl group Red Velvet and Sana from girl group TWICE. Irene topped the survey last year.
