Wedding book, an online wedding planning service provider, will open its offline store in Cheongdam-dong, southern Seoul, Friday, according to the firm Thursday.

The firm released the country's first wedding planning app in 2014 and has led the sector with more than 200,000 subscribers and around 70,000 reviews for wedding service providers.

"Wedding book has been trying to provide standardized wedding planning services by letting consumers compare and choose different kinds of services and products required for their wedding," said Joo Sang-don, CEO of the firm.

At the 800-square-meter building, visitors can plan all aspects of their weddings with various options available for attire, photo shoots, makeup services and honeymoons.

Visitors to the store can virtually experience what their wedding banquets could look like by wearing a virtual reality headset and virtually trying on wedding garments using 3D fitting platform CLO.

At the honeymoon consulting center in the building, experts offer recommendations about honeymoon destinations and help visitors to book accommodation and leisure and tour programs.

Being recognized for its potential, wedding book has attracted around 10 billion won ($8.8 million) in external investments from Korea Development Bank and venture capital firms TBT, SV Investment and Ascendo Ventures.

In celebration of the launch of its offline store, wedding book offers a random prize draw for two round trip tickets to Hawaii, free hotel stays there for two nights and free wedding photo shoot services.
