Man with depression stabs brother

Namyangju police have booked a man, 31, for allegedly stabbing his brother while watching a baseball game on TV.

Police said the suspect allegedly stabbed his brother, 28, twice in the thigh with a sharp object about 7:20 p.m. Tuesday.

The man told police he was enraged when his brother threw a cup at him, telling him to be quiet.

Police took the suspect into custody at the scene following the victim's report.

They said the man was found to be suffering depression and is now having psychiatric treatment.
